taking it easy!

thanks for all your concern :) and yes i am taking it easy!!!

although i did make the mistake of going shopping this morning, not for much just a few items for Kaylee and a couple of pairs of shoes for her and some hair products for me, oh and i did cave and buy myself a couple of new singlets, i wasnt going to because im not going to be pregnant too much longer to justify buying new maternity clothes, but damn its just too hot!! everything i have is black and long sleeved and im very pleased to say the last few tops i have brought recently have NOT been black! one has been a turquoisy colour, one has been brown, and todays ones are white, lol see! not black!!! but anyway, it was enough to start the pains again, i texted my midwife this morning to let her know things are ok etc, and then i went out for lunch and sat down for 3 hours, was great!!! had a beautiful BLAT with heaps of salad, just the way i like it! i hate it when i order a BLAT (Bacon, lettuce Avocado and Tomato on a nice foccocia bread with chutney) and it comes with one bit of lettuce, NO NO NO! haha i like lots of salad!

i have a new craving... Lemon, Lime and Bitters drinks, ohhh yum, ive had 3 in the last oh 12 hours! terrible really, but so nice and refreshing!!! and im going out to dinner tonight with Darryl and my SIL & BIL and all i can think of is not the food, but that i hope they can make me lemon, lime and bitters! haha

my midwife just texted me saying she hopes i was taking it easy and not doing anything, lol i told her about my long lunch, and i get "now THATS what im talking about!!" i didnt however tell her about the shopping and the fact im off out to dinner tonight... hmmm may just get a growling for that!! but im doing ok! i promise! a lot of sitting down, a lot of drinking fluids, a lot of ordering other people around!! :p

i ended up figiting last night, i got SO bored in bed, when there isnt much on tv, and your sick of sudoku and youve read all your mags, what do you do!! lol so i came out and finally got through the wee mountain of paperwork i had sitting on my desk! felt good to do it all! ive been putting it off for ages.

Baby has definatly dropped substantially, i can feel her bum so much lower than usual, and i can feel movements a lot lower than usual, but she has been pretty quiet today too, compared to the last few days (i say this as i get a huge kick!) and Braxton hicks have started up quite regularly too! Also in the last half an hour of so the cramps have started again, but hey, im in constant contact with my MW and am just going to be reallllly lazy for a while! haha

ok, call me the shopping bargain queen, i have to share with you! haha i went for a bit of a wander around our local outlet stores and i used my last puff of hairspray today, so i had quite flat lifeless hair, so not me! haha, anyway, they have a hairproduct outlet store, that just so happens to stock my FAVE brand of all time (joico) that i dont buy that often because it is SO DAMN expensive! (im talking $30ish for a 300ml shampoo - ouch!) BUT i got the next size up (500ml i think) shampoo and conditioner $30 for them both! score! AND a huge mousse and a huge hairspray (both Joico) for $20 for them both! ok yes, it does still seem expensive, and like i say because of the cost of them retail i VERY rarely buy them (special treat!) but ohhhhh i could not pass up those prices, especially when i was out of shampoo and conditioner and hairspray and was using the cheapest crappiest mousse (because i ran out of the good stuff!) i do love my hair products! :) (cant you tell!) ahhh im in heaven just smelling the bottles! haha

The weather is just too damn good to be stuck inside, id go stir crazy!!!
