Family weekend

We had a really lovely family weekend, something we havent had in a long time, Darryl only did one job yesterday (couple of hours, compared to all day Saturday usually) then we went out to Albany for a look around, we are SUCH impulse buyers and got Kaylee a cool dolls pram, very sweet and she just loves it, i really wanted to pick up my slow cooker from Noel Leamings which i got through flybuys, BUT they dont stock them (that type), could get them in, BUT its not listed as a flybuys pressie, so they wont do it! EVEN though i have the voucher for it! lol so a phone call will be made tomorrow i think to flybuys to sort it out! Then out to Drury we went to pick up our $30 change table, it is VERY cool, a lot nicer than we expected, only a couple of years old!!! so we were rapt at that, we then came home and rearranged our bedroom, set up the cot, bassinet, change table, and have it all ready and waiting now! very cool!

Then today, Darryl had a sleep in, well deserved i might add! i cooked a big breakfast, bacon, eggs, baked beans (yuck, not for me!), toast, juice, was nice to have brekky as a family for the first time in a long time! Darryl and Kaylee then went outside and washed his car (as you can see by the pics, Kaylee had a great time!) we then got Kaylee redressed and went out to Long Bay for a play on the beach and lunch, it was so beautiful out there, lunch was a flop, cant say we will ever go back there unless someone else is paying for it, really dissapointing as i wanted a really nice lunch for Darryl, we would of been better off getting fish and chips and sitting on the beach eating them! lol ahhhh well, never mind! then out to Darryls parents to do the family thing for a bit there and on to Darryls sisters (shes sick at the moment, not nice) to see how they were doing, i offered to have Maia tomorrow (same age as Kaylee) so im trying to work out whether i should take them to chipmunks (indoor playground at Albany) or if its a nice enough day take them to Mairangi Bay Park (all enclosed) so they can ride their bikes, might see what the weather does tomorrow i think!

not too much else to report really, feeling fine, still really sore, waddling like a duck, nothing new there! lol just slowly getting prepared and ready, 66 days to go....... :D

Cant get blogger to load pics for some reason, so will try again tomorrow :)

Sounds like a lovely weekend!

I've been to that Long Bay restaurant once for a wedding, and it was lovely, so that's a real shame!

Oh, and we spent ages at the Mairangi Bay playground this afternoon and I thought of you!!
