Wintery weather!!

lol at the moment its 8 degrees outside my house! in the middle of the damn day!! thank goodness its 21-22 inside! we are not going anywhere i tell you! not today! its cold, and windy, however it hasnt rained all day, damn it, i could of got more washing done if i was on to it!

that was my daily weather report... lmao :p

Thanks for all your comments on my pic! im finding it hard finding Maternity wear, i brought something on TM thinking it wont fit, it would be too small, (its only a L, im usually an XL) but its actually a little big for me.... give me a few months and a bigger stomach! lol ill fill it out nicely! but im just putting up with all my old rags for now, just until i get bigger, trying to avoid spending too much on maternity clothes, i will only be wearing them for another few months!

we are feeling heaps better, i still have a snot nose as does Kaylee, but that is it, no other cold symtoms, just have to get rid of all the snot! ohhh why oh why does a 2 yr old think its the done thing to wipe snot allllllll over her face and clothes BEFORE coming to mummy for a tissue?????? gross!

i have a couple of things coming up this week, my friend B is having a "Book Look" tomorrow afternoon, which is basically just a tupperware party (type of layout) with books! i have said to Darryl that i only want to get one thing, and that is another Potty book, as Kaylee LOVES hers so much it is completely demolished! and then my friend K is having a Prenzels party on Thursday night, once again i have limited myself to one thing only and that will be some Garlic Oil, i can really go overboard at things like this, so if i set my limits first, i know what im spending and that is it for me! but ohhh the new Avocado Dressing sounds devine too.... i have just sold a heap of stuff on TradeMe so will have a few dollars to spend!

One thing i have noticed lately re: food is that i really dont want it, and im quite happy to stop at one thing, AND im always choosing the healthy option on anything that i get, the thought of fatty foods reallllly makes me ill. and not just full on fatty food either, im a HUGE bread/rice/pasta fan, and my portions of these have significantly dropped, we end up with leftovers from dinner EVERY night, even though we are now feeding Kaylee exactly what we are eating, so there are 3 meals coming out of what used to be 2, and now there is enough for 4, even though im cooking the same amount, does that make sense??? and even though i am now serving up half the amount i used to eat on my plate, i still cannot usually eat it all. however in saying that, it must be enough for me, my baby is thriving, my health is great, and also im not depriving myself of anything (apart from the mammoth list of listeria risks!) if i want chocolate, i have it, chips, i have some, i just dont polish off the whole block, or the whole bag, put a few in a bowl and that does me. just for a small example, two of my fave takeaways (apart from sushi and subway! yummmm guess where im going as soon as i give birth!!) are Hell Pizza and Burger Fuel, we have had both recently and i used to be able to eat 1 snack size pizza and 1 sides of Samosas and Garlic Mayo, allllll to myself! we got it the other day and i could only manage half the pizza (2 sml slices) and 4 mini samosas (which is like a quater of the box!) a few days later we got Burger Fuel, and usually i can eat a whole burger and a punnet of spud chips with Aioli, i couldnt finish my burger, managed a little over half of it and only had 4-5 chips, just couldnt do it, was struggling, both days i had only eaten a small amount during the day (usually toast and tomato! yummmm!) and i was starving by the time dinner came around, its just surprising to me that i have lost so much of my appetite, but i think its something good for me!! :D

Hi Carla,

Just dropping in from Emily's blog. I'm an Aussie living in Japan, expecting November 6th!

I'd love it if you'd come and visit sometime and hope you don't mind if I come back too...

I am gutted that I can't have my fave sushi and Subway too - a sad day when burgers and cips or pizza are better choices, aye!!!!
