Half way!!!!!

20 weeks todayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! how farkin exciting is that! 6am i heard Darryl stirring, and i said "guess what!?" he was like, "yeahhhhhhh wtf you waking me up for!" lol i said, baby will be here in 20 weeks! he went "yup" then rolled over and went back to sleep! lol secretly though, i know hes happy!

ive been out all day shopping, really i shouldnt of gone anywhere, but apart from going to my scan on Monday, i havent been out of the house for over a week and i was so bored!!! i REALLLLLY want to go and visit Kate and Joseph and Amelia and Natalia, but because we are all stuffy with a cold im keeping my germys away from that gorgeous precious wee family!!! soon though!! im feeling HEAPS better, still have a sore throat and icky nose, but feeling a lot happier and a lot more in control of myself and emotions (HAH! you wait, tomorrow ill be a blubbering mess again!) Kaylee is a wee bit better too, shes started teething again, i can tell by her red cheeks and red bum, always a sure fire way to tell teething its on its way again for you new mummys to be! nothing else is helping her except Pamol, which i dont give her often, lol when i went to the chemist to get her some more, the pharmecist was surprised that this is the first bottle i had brought for her since she was born! (she got one bottle when she was born of Pamol, and its lasted nearly 2 years!!!) but the Pamol is helping her heaps this time, which is great, i find it hard when shes in pain and if something helps her, then im all for it!

anyway, off the trail, SHOPPING! lol i popped out to Milford (they have all kinds of nicknacky cool little shops!) and spent a good few hours just browsing with my SIL and her daughter, and of course Kaylee, well.... Kaylee decided it would be a great idea to grizzle, most of the way around! made it very hard, we always try really hard to include her when we are out, so she just isnt sitting in her pushchair the whole time, and she goes on rides and eats with us and browses the clothes shops (its so cute, she looks at things like i do, and says 'ohhhhhh nice'!!!) but today she didnt know what she wanted and even a carasol ride couldnt cheer her up, so she had a little nap on the way home and then i put her to bed with a bottle when we got home, and she woke up SO much better, but i didnt get to do the food shopping on the way home like i intended and not only do we have NO meat and NO veggies and NO fruit (except lemons and kiwifruit!) but we also have NO nappies and NO rubbish bags and NO tissues left!!! toilet paper hurts my nose! lol

we are trying to work out what carseat to get for Kaylee, we think we have it sussed, then another option comes up, its frustrating! because we can only really afford to buy 1 carseat, we have decided baby can go into what Kaylee is in now (it is a from newborn to 18 kg carseat) and then that means we dont have to buy a capsule, and we will put Kaylee into the next size carseat up, a booster, but we dont want her without a harness just yet, which means we need a convertable booster, its mind boggling how many there are to choose from! lol when we chose Kaylees carseat we just brought one that looked georgous and snuggly! turns out we did make a good choice, but we did no research into it and really didnt have a clue what we were buying! have a couple of years with a kid and man, the possibilities are endless! we THINK we have found one we like that suits us for now, means when baby is ready to go into a booster, she can have Kaylees and Kaylee can then go into a half booster..... i think.....

lol you confused yet?? we are too!!!

all else fails, we will just sell it on Trademe if it doesnt suit!!!

forgot to mention yesterday, the scan picked up that my placenter is Anterior, which isnt a problem at all, but it does explain why my MW finds it hard to find the heartbeat and why babys movements feel so dull! nice to have explainations on these little things sometimes! but once baby gets a bit bigger then the placenter should move and i will feel big thuds again!

oh and Rach, yep we do have a name for baby, and i may tell you, one day :) if youve been a good girl!!! :p

Yay for being half way!!!

Are you sure you won't get a free car seat through the trusts? We are hopefully going to get one and just use our capsule until then.

I can't wait to see you and let you have a cuddle of Natalia!!

OK, my placenta is anterior too - what does that mean???? You know, since my useless sonographer didn't tell me anything!! Just noticed it on the report this morning...

Will seek advice about carseats later on!!

Oh, and well done on half-way!!!!!

20 weeks - that went fast....LOL (for me anyway!!!). We put Reece (my 4 1/2 year old) from the baby seat (0 - 18kgs) straight into a big bulky booster that we got from the Warehouse and it has quite a high back and sides and is still quite cosy looking. I does only have a seat belt option but we found this to be fine (after we threatened him with death if he EVER tried to undo it....hehe) and now Reece is not in anything and Adam occasional uses it (if we change cars). Adam is also really good in it (23 1/2 months also) and I am quite confident that he could use it all the time now.

I feel your pain about shopping with a darling little child who is in a foul mood. I have on more than one occasion also had to cut my shopping short to take the little sweetie home for a sleep.

I have been an extra good girl today so I definately think you should tell me babies name.....LOL.
If you want to keep it a secret, that's fine - I will just winge constantly.......LMAO :)

P.S. You are looking fantastic in that photo - definately lost weight ah?
